A highly successful SJP Partner Practice in Ayrshire is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.
The Practice prides itself on offering a first-class service to all clients, providing them with a range of investment and retirement products and solutions to meet their financial goals and objectives.

The role is to work closely with the Partner / Practice Manager when informing and advising clients on financial strategies, plans and products, and organise the technical task, illustrations, and reports.
As our Paraplanner you will be providing technical expertise to support and assist in this process, through undertaking detailed research and analysis of a wide variety of financial planning solutions.

You will be the go-to individual for advice on technical queries and your duties will focus on covering the full client journey, including liaising with the Administration team to ensure business is accurately and compliantly processed and CRM / back-office systems are correctly updated.
You will always strive to produce well thought out and meaningful Client Suitability reports that demonstrate your attention to detail and understanding of their needs.

Paraplanner Requirements

• You should be an experienced Paraplanner with great report writing skills
• Level 4 Diploma is essential, and you will have experience of a variety of financial planning solutions including investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning.
• You will have the skills and knowledge to prepare client reviews, updating cash flow models, investment performance reviews and production of supporting reports, discussion documents and computer models
• You will have excellent IT skills and be familiar with all major research systems (e.g. Analytics, Voyant etc)
• You will have contact with clients, so it is essential that you are professional and confident in dealing with third parties, have excellent communication skills and can work with total discretion.
