Parking Attendant

We currently have an opportunity for a Parking Attendant in Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas
Job Details

• 40 hours per week - shifts can change to include evenings/weekends to suit business requirements (changes are discussed and planned prior to commencement)

• £11.44 per hour

• Uniform Supplied

• 28 days holidays per annum, including Bank holidays (pro-rata)

• Full training given

Position Overview

• Completion of Patrols on car park attending, issuing enforcement notices to vehicles not adhering to the car park rules

• Documenting visit reports on a handheld device.

• Completing front line maintenance on parking equipment limiting downtime to a minimum.

• Routine cleaning of car park equipment, Signage, litter and leaf removal, weeding, boundary trimming as and when required, maintaining a high standard on site

• Meeting with onsite client representatives.

The successful candidate will be well-organised and confident with credible communication skills, readily able and willing to contribute at all levels. In addition, the individual will be versatile, intuitive, and professional with good judgement and integrity. Pro-active and responsive to changing needs of the business and demands of the customer, while remaining calm under pressure and self-motivated. The successful candidate will be reliable and well presented, giving a positive image of Euro Car Parks company values.
In addition, the following is needed;

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Excellent organisational skills, with exceptional customer service skills.

• A strong team player and able to use own initiative.

• A credible verbal and written communicator with the ability to develop close working relationships.

• IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications and the ability to learn new software systems.

The role will be subject to references and DBS check. Full training will be provided.
