Part Time Accountant

This is an excellent job opportunity for an experienced accountant with a proven track record of working within Practice. Our client is an established firm with a strong presence in the South East. You will be based in the East Grinstead office in West Sussex.

Ideally, you will be available for 3 days per week or circa 22.5 hours as our client can offer flexible working hours. The role will be office based and you will be joining a highly professional team.

Although Part Time, this is an important role and will report directly to the Partners. The firm use a variety of modern accounting systems, including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks and you will enjoy a varied role.

The main duties will include:

• Accounts production for SME businesses including start-ups
• Quarterly VAT Returns
• Personal Tax Returns
• The possibility of assisting with Audits
• Some general Bookkeeping

This is a permanent role and applications are welcome from QBE / Stopped studiers, ACCA Qualified or ACA Qualified Accountants or perhaps current ACCA or ACA studiers. Previous experience of working for an accounting practice is essential.

You will be well organised and will have strong communication skills as you will be liaising with clients directly.
