Part-time Accounts Assistant

Company details and job overview:Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a business based in Lytham who have been operating for over 50 years. This business has a turnover of around GBP33 million and they are now recruiting for a part-time Accounts Assistant for a 12 month fixed term contract. Your new role as the part-time Accounts Assistant:• Post all Cash Receipts in the ERP system from the three Invoice Finance Bank Accounts (GBP, USD, EUR) and maintain Excel Cashbook reports.• Deal with Customers' payment queries• Customer Account Management, including Sales Ledger reconciliations and chasing payment from our regular customers.• Portal Reconciliations for 3 large customers• Generate, review and send monthly Customer Statements.• Prepare weekly and monthly Debtor reports.• Update the Cash Flow Forecast with Daily Receipts.• Update the Cash Flow Forecast at least weekly with forecasted Cash Receipts.• Deal with LN finance queries from the Finance Team, as necessary.• Provide cover for other Finance tasks, as per the Finance Checklist.• Support the Head of Finance, as required• Promote the concept of Continuous Improvement within the Finance Team.• Ensure all activities carried out are ethical, meet H&S regulations & comply with company procedures.• Any other duties / reports, as required.Experience & Qualifications required to apply:• Previous sales ledger experience• Preferably an AAT qualificationSalary and Reward on offer:- A salary of up to GBP28,000 (pro rata)- On-site parking- 4% employer pension contribution- Annual leave - 25 days + Bank Holidays (pro rata)Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
