An industry-leading business situated in Ash Vale are expanding their team and seeking an enthusiastic Administrator, covering maternity, on a Part Time basis.
The role reports directly to the Demand Planning Manager and would suit someone with a passion for sports, planning and administration.
Duties as the Part Time Administrator:
- Generate purchase orders on SAP
- Monitor, maintain and update purchase orders with quantity, price, Available to Promise Dates (ATP) and invoice details and ensure shipping information is present and accurate
- Book stock into SAP promptly and accurately
- Liaise directly with external vendors on purchase orders for components to ensure that SAP information is correct, and deliveries are received on time
- Determine what priority shipments are required and expedite accordingly for all products
- Manage and facilitate stock transfers between warehouses within SAP, and work with the Logistics Coordinator in the physical movement of inventory
- Pro-actively respond and resolve all customer services issues, transfers and availability requests
- Investigate any stock issues that may arise and ensure SAP is updated
- Consistently monitor inventory levels and flag up any issues
- Balance finished product requirements and coordinate this requirement with other departments
- Maintain and update the planning files ensuring that the data is accurate and up to date
- Report back any inventory issues
- Prepare monthly reporting schedule and monitor to ensure reporting deadlines are met
- Assist in the creation and updating of the monthly purchasing files to Japan
- Interrogate data and prepare stock and sales reports as required
Key skills needed to succeed as an Administrator:
- Excellent administrative skills
- Proficiency within IT, with the use of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Use of SAP to highlight errors and the ability to enter large quantities of data accurately
- Confident communicator
- Demonstratable high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and quality of delivery
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritise deadlines
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day.
Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
