SalaryPart Time Bookkeeper, Salary cGBP20-22k pro rata, working circa 16 hours per week with some flexibility around days and hours worked. Based in Chester City Centre.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a leading Estate & Lettings Agency based in Chester city centre. We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience in a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant role. Experience of property management, lettings or estate agency would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inputting and processing a high volume of transactions to include payments to Landlords and contractors
- Bookkeeping of company accounts
- Administer and reconcile accounts using the Jupix system and excel
- Process incoming rental, deposit and fee payments
- Processing and paying of invoices
- Ensure all accounts and transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Highlight any discrepancies
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent administrative and data entry skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including Word and Excel and the ability to pick up new systems.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative.
- Good team member with a flexible approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
