We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to support our Birmingham team. This role will suite someone looking for Part time work at around 16 to 20 hours a week and looking for hybrid work. We can be flexible with the time and days you work for the right person. The rate of pay will £11-£12 per hour.
Ideal candidate should have some experience working within a small finance team and will need to be a hardworking and self-motivated individual capable of independently to a deadline. The role involves assisiting in the production of management reports,preparing accuals,cash forecast/aged debtors, creditors and raising Invoices on a daily basis
The successful applicant needs to have worked in similar role and worked with main accounts packages - xero, excel etc.
Key Responsibility:
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconciling Purchase Invoices with payment on Xero
- Prepare and manage cashflow forecast
- Prepare Account payable and manage Aged debtors
- Prepare Accruals & Prepayments for electricity & gas invoices
- Reviewing and maintaining the nominal ledger and cost accounts
- Assisting the management in production of weekly and monthly performance reports
- Monitoring and reporting on individual budgets on a weekly and monthly basis
- Ad-hoc reporting
Experience:
- bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
- Accounting Software: 1 year (Preferred)
