Safari Banbridge require an experienced Part Time chef / Kitchen Assistant for our multi-award winning grill restaurant in Banbridge with immediate start.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar busy enviroment would be an advantage.
We need people with who can competently prepare a wide range of hot & cold dishes, breakfasts, lunches, steaks, desserts, sauces, etc, with flair and passion under instruction from our head chef.
Normal working hours are:
Monday - Wednesday 8.30am - 4pm
Thursday 8.30am - 8pm
Friday & Saturday 8.30am - 9pm
No late nights or Sundays except for Mother's day, Father's Day & during the Christmas period.
Additional shifts are available through our sister events company; Safari Corporate Catering, this involves providing outside catering to various corporate clients / events throughout the country, this can be any day of they week and at any location throughout Ireland. (Transportation is provided)
Wages for the events team is seperate from the restaurant and is performance and profit sharing based.
Safari is a very close knit team and we need people who are team players who are not afraid to ask for help or advice when under pressure, people who stay cool, calm and collected when it comes in hard especially at weekends as we do tend to get very busy with both events and the restaurant.
We need people that want to learn our business and become an integral part of the company, someone that actually wants a long term job and not someone who is just looking for a wage.
