Job Description
- Providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Advising on data protection and intellectual property matters
- Supporting the wider legal team with various legal projects
- Contributing to the development of legal policies and procedures
- Managing legal risks within the organisation
- Liaising with stakeholders on legal matters
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Commercial Counsel should have:
- A law degree from a recognised institution
- Experience in commercial law, particularly within the Not For Profit sector
- Strong knowledge of data protection and intellectual property law
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage legal risks and ensure compliance
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
