We are a modern busy dental practice offering NHS and Private dentistry. Our mission is to create a professional and friendly environment for our patients and staff.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking receptionist to join our dynamic team of clinicians, nurses and admin members. Dental experience/ background is preferable but not essential, as full training will be given from the outset.
The role will involve:
· Providing full and comprehensive reception duties dealing with general and complex enquiries, arranging dental appointments by phone and in person.
· Dealing with internal and external referrals
· Taking payments in person and over the phone, logging onto the dental software system(SOE) and cashing up at the end of the day
· Confirming appointments, triaging patients, overseeing Practice diaries
· Liaising with clinicians on treatment booking, patient queries and diary management
· Ordering and maintaining supply of sundries
· Scanning, filing and maintaining patient records
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

· Have good verbal communication
· Be accurate with attention to detail
· Able to work under pressure
· Be organised and prioritise tasks
· Ability to use own initiative and be proactive
The successful applicant will be professional, presentable and have the ability to show initiative and work well in a team.
This position is part-time and permanent: Mondays and Fridays from 8.45am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch.
