Job description

This part-time Director of Finance role is ideal for a motivated and seasoned individual looking to lead the finance department within a highly regarded not-for-profit organisation based in Luton. Your primary task will be to oversee all financial affairs and contribute to the strategic growth of the organisation.

Description

  • Oversee all financial operations within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations.
  • Lead, manage and develop the finance team.
  • Present financial reports and updates to the board of directors.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of financial processes.

Profile

A successful Director of Finance should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role within a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
  • An understanding and commitment to the values of the not-for-profit sector.

Job Offer

  • An annual salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000.
