Job description

FJR Group is looking for a proactive and diligent Finance/Office Manager for a small business based in the city centre to work part-time (9am/10am to 3pm/4pm) around 30 hours per week, on a hybrid basis - 3 days in the office.

The role would be working for the SMT in the business and will predominantly be focused on finance activities with some broader administration activities. These would include (but are not limited to):

  • Credit control
  • Purchase ledger
  • Managing own workload
  • Organised and able to work autonomously
  • Posting month-end adjustments - salaries, accruals, prepayments and amortisation journals
  • Preparing and loading weekly payment runs
  • Posting transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts and invoice finance accounts

You would also be expected to pick up generic office management duties as well as help organise internal and external events.

The ideal candidate would be a highly organised, efficient individual with great communication skills who wants to be part of an ambitious outgoing team. You would be great at multi-tasking identifying opportunities to make changes and supporting the sales team and directors grow.
