Part Time Financial Controller / Bookkeeper - Birmingham - £25k - £30k per annum (pro rata)
Our client is a well-established construction company based in Birmingham; due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Part Time Financial Controller / Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, purchase orders, payment management, and bank statement reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Maintain accurate client records through filing and document scanning.
- Support general administrative tasks for smooth office operations.
- Operate monthly payroll.
Applicants should possess the following skills / experience:
- Experience with Xero or similar
- Experience within a similar role is essential
- Excellent team player
- AAT Level 3 Qualification is preferable but not essential if you have a good level of experience
The role will be working 3 full days per week within the clients Birmingham office.
