Is seeking to recruit the following:

PART TIME HEALTH & WELLBEING

SUPPORT WORKER

Hours: 17.5

(Including Evening and Some Weekends)

Salary:

£25,080 p.a. (Pro Rata) - MYA Grade 4 Points 16

Fixed Term Funded to 31st March 2025

This post will be based at Brunswick Youth and Community Centre – 104 Marsh Lane, Bootle, Liverpool L20 4JQ.

The primary purpose of the role is to increase the reach of the Brunswick Youth and Community Centre by engaging additional young people to participate in new health and wellbeing activities with the Centre.

The postholder will be employed by Merseyside Youth Association (the grant holder) but located in the Brunswick Youth and Community Centre. Youth Health and Wellbeing work will be delivered at this location, and the postholder will be designated an MYA Line Manager alongside an Operational Manager from Brunswick YCC.

· To support the Health and Wellbeing worker to deliver innovative youth early

intervention, development, education, training and support programmes to improve

children and young people’s health and wellbeing. Providing one to one and group

support using wellbeing techniques and programmes.

· To support the Health and Wellbeing worker to ensure that all individual and project

deliverable targets are met in line with contract, grants and the Brunswick Youth and

Community Centre internal profiles/targets.

· To support the Health and Wellbeing worker to deliver an outreach programme that

engages with those hard-to-reach young people and attract more young people into

health and wellbeing activities.

· Responsible for all Health and Safety functions related to this post.

The successful candidate will hold or working towards Qualification at Level 2 or above in a relevant subject area.
