Part Time Home To School Driver

We are currently hiring for the position of Part-Time/Term Time Only Private Hire Drivers.

If you have a valid UK driving license (Held for 1 year+), a caring nature, and a commitment to safety whilst being willing to work Monday to Friday, we want to hear from you!

Role and Responsibilities:

• To safely transport Children and Adults with additional needs identified as (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day centres.
• Maintain a professional and friendly approach when interacting with all passengers, potential support staff/parents, and staff at the establishments in which they are attending.
• Ensure the vehicle is well maintained and always in a clean, hygienic, and roadworthy condition.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, being available during both morning and afternoon shifts on all school days.

Requirements for the Role:

• Possess a valid UK driving license (Must have been held for 1 year +).
• Must be able to work 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, AM and PM Journey)
• Ability to drive various company-provided vehicles, previous experience is a plus but not essential. All company vehicles can be driven on standard manual licenses. Alteration can be made for automatic only license holders however this may delay the start time.
• Secure and store the provided vehicle in a safe and convenient location.
• Successfully complete an enhanced criminal record check due to the nature of working with children, young persons, and vulnerable adults.
• Meet Group 2 medical standards to comply with licensing requirements.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to obtain a Private Hire license before commencing the role. Techxi will provide the necessary training to obtain the license, and cover the associated costs except for the DBS Update Service subscription (£13 per year).
