A part time HR Manager will provide strategic and operational HR support to a small but reputable company, ensuring team members are motivated, performance is high and the company complies with all relevant legislation.

Description
- Finding candidates from various sources for all levels
- Conducting HR interviews
- Arranging interviews for Directors and Managing Partners & co-ordinating assessments
- Preparing and sending out employment contracts and supporting documents
- Updating all employee records and systems
- Joiner checklists including phone and laptop set up
- Monthly Payroll including pensions
- Advising on uploading and removing content for careers section of website
- Be first point of contact for all training requests and arrange requested training courses as necessary.
- Research new training courses and providers as required
- Update templates, arranging appraisal meeting, note take during meetings and type up notes to send to appraiser and employee for sign off
- Ensure all job descriptions are up to date
- Provide pastoral care to the team
- Monitoring and helping with mental health
- Review and update H&S policies and documents quarterly and send to the team and update notice board
- Give new joiners a tour of buildings and facilities and explaining H&S procedures
- Ensure employees have DSE Assessments (home and office set up)
- Be first point of contact for all employees sickness and let the rest of the team know
- Record all sickness on the holiday chart
- Respond to any employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances - liaising with employment lawyers if necessary
Profile
- Proven experience in a HR management role
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and organisational abilities
