Nook is seeking enthusiastic, hard working, positive and passionate prep chef /kitchen supervisors to be a part of our kitchen team at Nook Bristol

We are seeking a interested and capable individual - with at least 1 years experience working in a kitchen.

We sell acai smoothie bowls, aussie brunch, cold press juices, superfood smoothies, poke bowls, coffee.

Your role

You will be responsible for supervising the kitchen 3 days a week.

Prepping food for our menu, make bowls during breakfast and lunch service, bake cakes for our coffee counter, washing up and cleaning duties are also part of the job role.

The ideal candidate must be:

⁃ Passionate about food and customer service.

⁃ Capable of being calm + composed at all times (we are a stress free company)

- Work well in a tight team of like minded individuals

⁃ Have excellent communication + order taking skills

Hours

- 3 shifts per week

- 25-30 hours per week

Key role + responsibilities

⁃ Food preparation, cooking and food presentation following our menus

⁃ Ensuring food safety requirements and relevant paperwork adheres to current health and hygiene legislation

⁃ Working alongside the Cafe Manager to minimise wastage and place the orders effectively

Conditions

Three month probationary period for both parties.

After the three months if you have successfully fulfilled your job role you will then be signed to a permanent contract.

Starting wage: 12.50 per hour
