Our client who are a well-regarded, leading law firm based in Gloucester are recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join their team on a Part Time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be liaising with clients, clerks, colleagues and other individuals by telephone, email and letter for work related matters. Ensuring that a professional and efficient manner is adopted at all times is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within a private Family department and have experience of dealing with sensitive client matters.
Responsibilities/Duties;
-Typing legal documents, correspondence and agreements
-Collating information for documents such as bundles, diary management and contact with clients
-Liaising with introducers and clients, keeping them updated regarding progress
-Handling telephone calls
-Updating and maintaining client records on the internal systems
-Help other secretaries with urgent work within the department during busy periods
Candidate Attributes;
-Excellent computer and typing skills
-Excellent telephone manner
-Excellent organisational skills
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Hours- 4 days per week, however flexible for the right candidate
Salary- Up to £26,000 pro rata
