About our Nursery
Our warm and friendly team at Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool at Melrose look forward to welcoming a new Nursery Practitioner, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life.
Our nursery in Melrose is located just a short drive from the A7 and the A6091, and is just a stone\'s throw from Borders General Hospital. Tweedbank train station is conveniently just a two-minute drive from Busy Bees Melrose, which offers secure on-site care parking.
About our Benefits
As a Nursery Practitioner, we offer a salary of £27,040 (pro rata) per annum, plus you will also be entitled to:

What to expect as a Nursery Nurse/Educator
- As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any ASL needs.
- Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with the Curriculum for Excellence and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
- Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
- And most of all…have FUN!
*To apply for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or level 2 and excited to move forward with yoru Level 3 through our in-house training porgram, and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse*
