Part TimeOffice Receptionist & Guest Services
Part-time: 3/4 days a week, including weekends.
Our friendly welcoming team at Tapnell Farm are looking for a dedicated part-time Receptionist and Guest Services team member, to handle customer-facing queries across the Tapnell Farm site and to work alongside the accommodation team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a friendly manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dealing with incoming calls, and emails
- Dealing with a wide range of queries across the Tapnell Farm site
- Using the ticketing system to book tickets, submitting refunds, taking payment over the phone for extra events or extras added to a booking.
- General administrative duties across the site.
- Office maintenance and tidying -ordering stationery, ink for photocopier/printer.
- Accepting deliveries and notifying the correct department of their arrival.
- Booking ferry crossings for colleagues and Partners when requested.
- Liaising with holiday guests, booking ferry crossings and holidays and liaising with the housekeeping team.
- Taking meeting minutes when requested (shorthand not required)
- Placing orders online when requested for departments across the site, logging all orders
- Liaising with the accounts department regarding invoices.
- Booking Birthday Parties.
- Taking bookings for visiting schools.
- During the weekend you will be dealing with both accommodation and reception emails and calls as well as helping on-site guests with any queries. You will also be liaising with relevant team members to help sort out any issues

- Excellent communicator to all ages.
- Good computer skills including a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in a customer facing hospitality role is an advantage.
Hours of work: Part-time position working 3/4 days a week to include weekends. Regular days of work will be Saturday and Sunday (10am - 4pm) Monday (9am-5pm) with Fridays in high season. You must also be able to work up to 5 days a week for holiday cover.
