  • Job Title: Part-time Personal assistant/Senior administrator

    Location: Birmingham

    Duration: 12 months minimum

    Hourly Rate: £14 per hour

    Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7 hours per day + 1 hour lunch

About: Are you an experience Personal assistant? Do you enjoy coordination on a large scale? Well then, look no further! We are looking for an experienced Personal assistant or administration to join a leading university on a minimum 12 month contract! The perfect candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving, ensuring seamless office operations and fostering a positive working environment for all stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Provide a secretarial service to the University Secretary assisting with the daily running of an efficient office.
    • Review and manage systems and record keeping ensuring information is accessible and retained in an appropriate manner.
    • Maintain a comprehensive and dynamic diary of appointments - arranging meetings and balancing competing priorities ensuring the degree of flexibility and responsiveness required within a busy schedule.
    • Prioritise, coordinate and arrange meetings including the preparation of briefing material, distribution of papers and agendas and taking forward any points of action, as required.
    • Maintain records of work, issues pending and work in progress, and to prioritise work to meet both internal and external deadlines. Including maintaining appropriate files, bringing forward and pursuing issues and reporting regularly on progress.
    • Prioritise, initiate, respond to and redirect where necessary internal and external communications (including emails, letters and telephone calls).
    • Produce a wide range of reports, letters, papers and presentations, drafting appropriate correspondence on own initiative.
