Part-Time Payroll Clerk / Bookkeeper

Our client is a friendly, established firm of Accountants, seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk / Bookkeeper to join their team. You will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

• Undertaking end to end payroll for a varied portfolio of clients on a weekly, monthly and fortnightly basis - mainly using Sage Payroll software
• All associated pension administration including auto-enrolment administration, registering new pension users etc
• Processing starters / leavers
• Calculation of holiday pay, SMP / SPP / SSP, statutory deductions etc
• Liasing with HMRC and making submissions to HMRC via RTI submission
• General bookkeeping duties for clients using Xero
• Credit control duties

The company are flexible regarding hours and can consider those looking betwee 16-30 hours per week. You will need strong previous payroll experience and ideally have some experience with bookkeeping. Any previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or bureau would be beneficial.
