Job Title: Payroll & Finance Assistant
Location: Clitheroe
Salary: GBP26k - 30k FTE

Our client is looking for a new Payroll Assistant to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
The main responsibility of this position is to process the monthly payroll for 400 members of staff, accurately and on-time.
You will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll monthly (timesheets & salaried) for around 400 members of staff,
- Processing new starters and leavers,
- Producing monthly reports for the directors,
- Management of tax, National Insurance, deductions, SSP, SMP, P60s and P11D's
- Manual calculations for payroll SMP, SSP
- Updating records daily with exemptions, deductions and department transfers
- Produce reports and managing pension uploads monthly
- Supporting wider finance team when required with tasks within Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
You will need:
- Over 2 years of experience working within a Payroll Position,
- To be good a communicating,
- Excellent organisational skills,
- Experience using Microsoft Excel,
- Experience using SAGE Payroll.
