Part Time Primary Teacher

Looking for part-time work in a lovely school? Step Teachers are currently working with an excellent Primary school for a Year 5 Teacher. The role is to start after the February half term and will not require planning and marking.

The role of the Primary Teacher entails covering set lessons within a variety of Primary settings. You teach students, mark assignments, and maintain records of their progress. The school strives to create a safe, high-quality learning environment that acknowledges the importance of relationships and responsibilities as an important foundation for all learning experiences.

Role: 

• Strong KS1/2 knowledge

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience in Primary

• Living within or commutable distance from Plymouth
