Hours: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM, Mondays and Tuesdays
Salary: GBP11 per hour
Location: Midlothian
Duties:
Meeting and Greeting: Welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
Answering Phone Calls: Handle incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing them to the appropriate staff members or departments.
Dealing with Incoming Mail: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to recipients.
Issuing Security Passes: Maintain security protocols by issuing security passes to visitors and ensuring that security procedures, including the viewing of security videos, are followed for all individuals accessing the premises.
Managing Diary, Calendar, and Travel: Assist staff members with managing their schedules, coordinating appointments, and arranging travel arrangements as needed.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Professional demeanour and customer service orientation
