As a Remote Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their accounting needs. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and providing valuable insights to clients across various industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and enjoys working independently. Please note this is a remote Part Time role 15-20 hours a week with the occasional office meeting.

Responsibilities:

• Draft accounts and corporation tax returns
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties
• Preparing self assessment returns
• Processing payroll
• General client admin duties

Qualifications:

• AAT qualification is required
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines as this is a remote role
