Sales Ledger Assistant, Part Time 25 hours a week, c£28k pro-rata, Farnborough with parking / hybrid*
We are looking for a dedicated Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Assistant to join our client’s friendly and supportive finance team on a Part Time basis. Working 25 hours a week, ideally split across 5 days, this role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Sales Ledger operations and a proven track record in Credit Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer relations and managing financial transactions with professionalism and excellent customer service.
Day to Day of the Role:
• Resolve customer queries efficiently, including the creation of credit notes and matching debit notes.
• Post and allocate cash receipts from customers in various currencies including Sterling, US Dollars and Euros.
• Complete Sales Ledger Account reconciliations.
• Engage with customers for the collection of overdue debts and the swift resolution of queries.
• Work alongside the Credit Control Manager to approve and establish new accounts, check credit limits, and apply insurance cover.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
• Provide additional support across the business as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant current or previous experience in a Credit Control / Sales Ledger Department.
• Familiarity with handling customer returns and debit notes.
• IT literacy, particularly in accounting systems and desktop software such as MS Excel.
• Professional approach with excellent communication skills to interact with Managers, Staff and Customers.
