Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-time Teaching Assistant fluent in Mandarin to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in providing support to our Mandarin language teachers and creating a conducive learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Mandarin language teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with Mandarin language learning.
- Assist in creating educational materials and resources in Mandarin.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Support students in their language development, including pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
- A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their language learning goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Responsible, reliable, and committed to supporting students' learning journey.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Hours:
Part-time hours based on the school's schedule during term time.
