Wicked Cookies is on the hunt for an energetic Event/Festival Pop-Up Sales Assistant who thrives on meeting new people, relishes the fast-paced environment of concerts, festivals, and outdoor markets, and enjoys the variety of work at different venues, primarily on weekends. If you're a go-getter who prefers working independently, possesses a car and a driving license, and is available on weekends to pick up cookies and equipment from Nuneaton (CV10 7NG), then set up gazebos/stands at various outdoor events, markets, and festivals across Warwickshire and nearby regions, this could be your gig. This role offers great flexibility, allowing you to select the events that interest you. We'll handle the baking and prep; you bring the fun!
Responsibilities:
- Collect kit/cookies from the Bakery in Nuneaton (CV10 7NG)
- Travel to events locally and across the UK
- Pop-up the Wicked Cookies gazebo or stand
- Maintain excellent customer service
- Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices
- Take cash/card payments using an app downloaded to your phone
- Pack down kit and/or gazebo and return to the Bakery at the end of the event
- Support the business on other one-off tasks and projects as the need arises
The Job Holder Should:
- Have a hard-working, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Be able to cope with the moderate physical demands of the event team role eg: lifting heavy boxes of cookies, setting-up and packing down gazebos and stands etc
- Preferably have prior food/restaurant experience and/or their level 2 food hygiene certificate
- Be self-motivated, confident, resilient & disciplined as you will be required to travel/work solo most of the time
- Be happy to work outside in all weather
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to support tasks as required by the business
- Be ambitious to grow with the business and embrace new opportunities as they arise
- Have a car to transport kit in and have a full UK drivers license
Benefits & Schedule:
- Part-time role with zero hour contract and immediate start
- Days and hours are variable
- Mostly weekend work, including some Fridays and bank holidays
- Overnight stays on occasion

- 28 days holiday to include bank holidays (pro rata) for hours worked
- Salary based on national minimum wage + bonus with an opportunity to increase hourly rate depending on how awesome you are!

Wicked Cookies is an established, ethical and eco-friendly family business based in Coventry with a bakery production location in Nuneaton. We produce handmade, Artisan Cookies in over 40 flavours including vegan, dairyfree, glutenfree and sugar free options.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
