FTE: 1.0 FTE (working 37 hours per week) Annual Leave: 25 days, plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year Location: MacLaurin Building, Hatfield, University of Hertfordshire An opportunity has arisen to join us in support of the University’s strategic growth in courses at our collaborative partners. Working with our partner colleges within the UK and overseas, we are looking for a motivated and proactive team member to take responsibility for administration activities related to courses offered at these partner institutions. The Collaborative Partnerships Unit provides for flexibility of cover across all areas of our partnership activities, both UK and overseas based. This professional role provides for strong career development and opportunity, and with the benefit of appropriate training and support. Main duties and responsibilities This is an interesting and varied position that provides you an opportunity to develop your administrative experience within a friendly team at the heart of Academic Registry. The role requires working with a range of academic and professional staff internally and externally. You will need to bring a willingness to be flexible in time and in workload to support effective team working and to facilitate seamless customer service to our partners. Your work will include maintaining student records, and supporting processes related to registration and assessment. Skills and experience required The role requires accuracy and attention to detail. You will have excellent communications skills in working effectively with key individuals internally and externally. You will have proven administrative experience, good organisational and IT skills, and the ability to use initiative and a flexible approach in delivering to deadline. Qualifications required Educated to a minimum of A-level qualifications or to an equivalent standard or proven professional work experience.
