SalaryBela Recruitment is hiring a Parts Advisor, in the Dungannon area, Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland.
The Company
The company has been successful trading in the local area for 20+ years, they have a great team that supports customers with a range of sales and service work on commercial vehicles. Most of the work is sourcing parts for the in-house team of mechanics and then external mechanics calling for parts. Very easy to commute to from Dungannon, Portadown, Coalisland, Cookstown, Ballygawley, Armagh, Moy
Responsibilities
· As a Parts advisor, you will work with in-house mechanics and external customers, to source and order a wide range of parts daily.
· Deal with customers face-to-face, on calls and via emails, to build strong relationships.
· Check stock availability and lead times for delivery.
· Order parts, track delivery and notify customers / mechanics.
· Place orders onto the in-house IT system, raise invoices, and issue receipts.
· Manage deliveries, putting stock away, and updating stock levels.
· Ensure customers remain within agreed credit limits, manage returns and apply promotion or discount offers.
· Process payments.
Requirements
· Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or Trade Counter job will be a huge advantage, but it is open to someone from another sector.
· Ability to build strong working relationships with internal staff and external customers.
· Strong Customer Service, IT Skills, and Attention to detail.
· Ability to work on the trade counter and control the small warehouse to manage parts coming In/Out.
· Ability to work Saturday on a rota basis, this is paid as overtime. Only working to 12noon on Saturdays.
Rewards
£22,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
