The Role:
Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Parts Assistant to help manage the daily operations of our client's parts department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the parts department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organise inventory Order and receive automotive parts Assist customers with parts inquiries and sales Process and track parts orders Maintain accurate records and documentation Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts Conduct regular stock audits and adjustments Handle returns and exchanges of defective or incorrect parts
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be proactive and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. While previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, our client provides on-site training to help you succeed.
Strong organisational skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in stock control and invoicing (preferred but not essential)
