As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Role and Responsibilities: As an Estimator you will play a vital role in accurately assessing the cost of Passive fire protection projects. Reporting to the Senior Management, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Estimating material, labour, and other project costs.
- Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Contributing to the development of bid proposals and presentations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the field of Passive fire protection.
- Knowledge of Passive fire protection materials, systems, and installation methods.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications.
