Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader | Greenwich
Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader needed for unique and vibrant school with a proud and distinguished history based in Greenwich (£35k-£40k).
The Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader will work with the Assistant Headteacher to ensure effective pastoral systems and procedures are consistently implemented across the school. The Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader will maintain a presence around the school to ensure that the highest standard of behaviour is demonstrated throughout the school building.
Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader duties include:

• To be the Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader for a cohort of students.
• To communicate the highest expectations of behaviour and consistently and effectively implement the school’s behaviour management policy and procedures.
• To monitor the emotional and mental wellbeing of students and make provision for necessary intervention.
• To support a team of tutors, developing and enhancing their practice, and to ensure that the highest level of pastoral care is provided to every student.
• The Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader will produce an annual Team Improvement Plan and monitor and evaluate its delivery and impact.
• To liaise with the Office Manager regarding care plans, medical and dietary needs of students.
• To liaise with outside agencies to set up interventions, support individuals and groups of students, as and when required.

Pastoral and Wellbeing Leader requirements:

• Recent relevant in-service training and qualification.
• Evidence of involvement in pastoral work within a school including safeguarding, attendance, inclusion, and behaviour.
• Experience of and commitment to involving parents in the education of their children.
• Knowledge of the key role that attendance and behaviour play in attainment and ability to demonstrate impact in these areas.
• Ability to lead a team.
