SalaryA 3-month+ opportunity for a Senior HR Advisorhas arisen with the local authorities in Coalville.
Pay rate of £20,22 per hour PAYE plus Holiday pay.
Candidate must be able to attend meeting in person as and when required at our offices in Coalville (Leicestershire).
Job Purpose
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and actioning day-to-day people-related issues. Those issues will include, recruitment and retention, performance management, employee onboarding, absence management and support, trade union liaison, organisation design, grievance and disciplinary management.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR and OD, there will be an expectation you will use your initiative and experience to support the client managers in our Housing teams and other designated functional areas to ensure tenants and customers receive the best service from the Council.
Skills and Experience:
- Professionally qualified, ideally to Member CIPD level 5 or equivalent level of experience gained within a complex operating environment
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills and have experience of writing internal communications briefings/documents
- Effective reasoning and analytical skills and the ability to form sound judgements to give well-reasoned advice
- Ability to analyse HR data and identify trends
- Able to prioritise a complex workload in an environment of change
- Have effective MS Office IT skills.
The working hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, 36,25 hours per week.
