Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP35,000 per annum

SF Recruitment are working is partnership with a market leading organisation who are looking for a experienced HR Officer to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Recruitment: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, assist in the recruitment process, and conduct interviews when necessary.
- Employee Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Absence Monitoring: Monitor and manage employee absences, including sick leave, and support employees in return-to-work processes.
- Preparation of HR Data Reports: Generate and analyze HR data reports to support decision-making processes within the organization.
- Payroll Checks: Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including the review of timesheets and leave records.
- Training of Staff Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, contributing to the professional development of our workforce.
- General HR Tasks: Assist in a wide range of general HR tasks, such as policy development, performance management, and employee relations, to help create a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent would be an advantage.
