Accelerate Teaching is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join a vibrant Primary School in Leeds as a Pastoral Care Specialist. This temporary position, commencing immediately and extending until July 2024, holds the potential for a permanent role within the school.

As a Pastoral Care Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the holistic development of our students.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
• Identifying and addressing pastoral needs and concerns
• Implementing strategies to enhance students' well-being and mental health
• Collaborating with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Organising and participating in pastoral care programs and initiatives

Essentials:

• Relevant experience in a pastoral care or student support role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
• Passion for supporting the well-being of students
