About the role

This is a full-time role, starting immediately and is ongoing until the end of the academic year, with the potential of it becoming permanent for the right candidate. The successful candidate must have experience in a Pastoral setting and will be working on a 1:1 basis with the children, as well as patrolling the school and dealing with any students out of lessons.

This welcoming, two-form entry secondary school based in Knowsley, are looking to appoint a highly driven and compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to work across the whole school.

About the school

The school converted to Academy status in 2020 and are yet to have an Ofsted inspection as an Academy. They offer a wide range of after-school clubs and activities for the students and was awarded with Applied Learning status in 2006.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Pastoral Mentor you will:

• Experience of working with secondary school aged children
• Experience in a Pastoral setting
• Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
