Integra Education are working with a Cheshire based secondary school who are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join the school's well-being team as a Pastoral Support Officer, a post in which emotional support is at the core of the role.

This is a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate, so it is not an opportunity to be missed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support to students, addressing social, emotional, and mental health needs


• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and staff


• Identify and respond to student concerns and crises


• Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and other support staff


• Maintain accurate records and report on student progress

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of child development, social-emotional learning, and mental health principles


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply)
