Pastoral Support Worker
Salary Scale: Grade 5 scale 11 – 14 £26,421 - £28,770
Actual Pro-rata Salary £21,301 - £23,194
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Mon – Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm x 38 weeks (term time only plus 18 hours for training days). 1348hrspa, 80.62% FTE
Do you have a genuine passion for supporting students, particularly those experiencing challenges in school and with social and emotional barriers to learning? If so, we would like to hear from you.
This role is highly rewarding and varied. You will support children of all ages overcome issues such as poor attendance, lack of self-esteem, behavioural and emotional difficulties or social and learning challenges. As a Pastoral Support Worker you will join our successful Inclusion team, who work across the school and with some amazing outcomes. You will work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis, liaising closely with other professionals, parents and carers. Experience of working with such children and/or delivering successful interventions would be useful but is not essential.
