Job Role: Pastry Chef - 5* Hotel
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £30,000 + Tronc
Benefits -
* £30,000 starting salary with added Tronc between £2500 - £3000 per annum
* Hyper seasonal focus on the menu, with a lot of their produce foraged from their own grounds.
* 48 hours a week over 5 days - all additional hours are paid.
* Shared accommodation is available at a cost of £200 a month. This covers all bills and staff food is regularly available. They have 2 cottages on the grounds each with 3 bedrooms. Venue is set in 100 acres of land so plenty space to enjoy some quiet.

A great opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join a 5* hotel nestled in the picturesque haven of Shropshire.
This exquisite venue is all about executing 5* service with a classical British focus. The use of fresh produce and seasonal changes within the menu, which are sourced from the vast gardens that the venue in situated within, creates the perfect opportunity for a Pastry Chef to explore their passion for culinary arts and enhance their patisserie skills.
You will be catering for around 100 in house guests, who will dine in one of their A La Carte restaurants, with a range of different menus such as an extraordinary afternoon teas and Sunday lunches. This venue is very well-known for hosting large extravagant weddings and events, around 120-150 a year, most in spring & summer and these can be formal sit-down dinners to summer BBQ's.
We are looking for a Pastry Chef with fine dining experience, ideally with the background in hotels to this scale. A passion and knowledge for great produce is a must!
