Platform Recruitment has partnered with a client who are leaders in electronic solutions. They are looking to take on a Patent Attorney who has the ability to work with complex technologies within a dynamic commercial environment.
Key responsibilities:
+ Help with invention capture, draft patent applications and manage patent drafting by outside counsel.
+ Carry out patent searching and provide advice on third-party patent rights.
+ Contribute to the continued development of the company’s IP practices, systems, processes and knowledge.
Key skills:
+ Excellent patent drafting skills
+ IP licensing and commercial agreements
+ Good understanding of the physics and the design of mechanical devices.
+ Practical and commercial approach to IP
Being a UK and European qualified Patent Attorney is preferable.
The salary will be up to £90k depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
