Payments Process Owner (P2P)

One of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies requires a Payments Process Owner for an initial 6 months contract.

The Payments Process Owner will have responsibility for the end-to-end Payments Process alignment and strategy compliance across all functional silos, geographic and business unit boundaries. This is a critical role ensuring ensure the success of project delivery within the payment tower, development of global operating models and the concurrent evolution of the existing process model.

Working in an Agile manner, to bring value to the business, leaning towards a service delivery model that using technology enablers is scalable for the organisation.

In supporting the global team, the payment Process Owner can play an important role in enhancing the global process, supporting both Projects and BAU activities.

Stakeholder management with the right level of engagement allow the sub Process Owners to aligning the organization better, changing behaviour, and reinforcing the overall process driven culture and brand in the organization.

Key requirements of the role

· A high calibre individual who is looking to develop process and best in class practices within a global organisation.

· Previous process experience gained from operating in a Global Financial Services environment, operating in a global capacity.

· Candidates must have experience of managing operational processes and a track record of improving & streamlining processes.

· Candidate must have Fraud Management experience from working in finance, it is preferable that they also have experience in banking payment practices.

· It is essential the candidate has good working knowledge of payment practices, I.e. SWIFT Payment, BACs, CHAPs & international payments.

· Candidate must have experience of leading, managing, developing, and coaching others.

· Personality wise the payments Manager will have a strong sense of integrity and of business acumen with the ability to develop internal and external relationships; be a good role model and a strong commitment to delivery excellence.

· Candidate must be able to operate / work with global stakeholders across The America’s, Europe, and APAC regions.

· Candidate must be able to work closely with the GPDD organisation, delivering support and guidance as required.

This position requires 3 days a week in the Luton office with 2 days WFH. The rate is £400 per day inside of IR35.
