Payroll Administrator Wanted!

Are you a seasoned Payroll Administrator seeking a fulfilling career within a reputable regional practice? Look no further! Redwood Search is thrilled to represent our esteemed client in their search for a dynamic Payroll Administrator to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day administration of client payrolls across various pay frequencies. From ensuring timely RTI submissions to processing end-of-year forms P60, your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll administration for clients, covering weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly pay cycles.
  • Process manual payroll calculations accurately and efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proactively engage with HMRC to address technical queries.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Sage 50 Payroll is advantageous, though training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Minimum GCSEs of C grade or above in Maths and English.
