Role Purpose To support with ensuring the companies colleagues are paid accurately and on time and Benefits are correctly administered with a strong focus on reporting and customer service. Acting as a technical subject matter expert and point of escalation. Working collaboratively with the People team to ensure effective delivery of people services.
Key. Accountabilities
• Support with the management of payroll services, provide technical payroll support and knowledge.
• Develop and maintain people related reports via business objects to support the service, working collaboratively with the Payroll, Systems, Reward, and other People Services functions.
• Maintain and own current pension contribution processing including reporting, validation, submission and audits.
• Create renewal reports for benefits including health and risk policies and support with scheme management and processing.
• Work with the People team to deliver an efficient and effective service with a high level of customer service
• Compile, process and review payroll information to produce timely and accurate payments, being a subject matter expert in compliance with NMW, Pension, processing of benefits and legislative changes
• Resolve system and process issues and identify and drive forward opportunities for improvement
• Support with Internal and external auditing requests
Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills
• Ideally CIPP qualified or working towards this.
• Extensive payroll knowledge and experience of managing weekly and monthly payrolls
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPS • Good understanding of Business Objects reporting.
• Highly organised with demonstrable experience of delivering at pace and within agreed timescales
• Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of Pensions and automatic enrolment requirement
