Details of the role
This is a full time position working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
The salary range will be £12,313.60 - £22,010.56 as per the National Minimum Wage (rates effective from 01 April 2024) according to age.
The successful candidate will provide bespoke support to Payroll, whilst developing a wide range of competencies to meet the appropriate vocational standards of performance relevant to the qualification, including developing skills in communication, numeracy and ICT and the technical knowledge required for the relevant Apprenticeship framework.
Interviews will be held on a date to be confirmed.
Job Requirements
You will have 5 GCSE passes or equivalent standard qualifications, including - English & Mathematics.
You will have experience in administrative work and a good standard of communication skills, both written and verbal with a good standard of numerical ability.
You will have the ability to deliver reliable customer service, developing good customer relationships and resolving problems, whilst presenting a positive image of yourself, Payroll, the People Department and MidKent College.
You will also be able to manage workloads, tasks and responsibilities effectively and complete relevant assignments and projects relating to the apprenticeship qualification on-time. Work effectively as part of the Payroll team, liaising with colleagues, organising and supporting meetings/ events as directed, achieving set targets/ objectives/ deadlines and following management instructions.
