We are currently working with a Local Authority who are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their team based in Hertsmere on a hybrid basis.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- To update BACS regarding when payments are due
- Be compliant with GDPR processes
- To process new starters and leavers payments
- To address any queries and complaints from colleagues regarding pay
- Contribute to the regular review and improvement of the payroll services
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a payroll roll
- Previous experience of working within a Local Authority
