Role: Payroll Associate

Location: Reading/ Manchester/ Glasgow

Salary: up to £28,000 + study support for CIPP

Hybrid: 1 day in the office

We have partnered with an accountancy firm with offices based nationwide who are currently looking for a Payroll Associate to join their growing payroll team. This is a great opportunity to progress in your careers as there is a lot of room for growth and development.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all starters, leavers, benefits, and allowances information is entered on to the payroll database and update the relevant spreadsheet to record all entries made.
• Calculate leavers pay when leaving mid-month.
• Process P45 forms
• Ensure monthly salary payment for client payrolls are transferred to the correct accounts in a timely manner.
• Completion of return of expenses and benefits forms P11D and P11D(b)
• Respond to client queries regarding payroll in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain an up-to-date client status schedule.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience within a payroll position
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience within a fast paced organisation
