Impression Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Harrogate based professional services firm offering accountancy, tax and business advisory services to a range of clients across the UK. They are known for being experts in their field and due to growth are now looking to recruit a Payroll Executive to join their close-knit, professional team situated in modern offices in Harrogate on a permanent full-time basis with the potential of hybrid working. You will ideally have previous experience of working in Payroll for a practice, however candidates with varied industry experience will also be considered.
As a successful Payroll Assistant your duties will include:
* Process end to end monthly employee payroll.
* Inputting of monthly payroll data into the payroll system.
* Effectively plan and manage own workload.
* Ensure payroll delivery is within agreed deadlines.
* Validating and inputting all data received.
* Processing new starters, leavers and contract changes.
* Inputting, calculation and recording of statutory payments.
* Processing and submission of relevant HMRC forms.
* Implementation and processing of auto-enrolment pension schemes for all employees.
* Action calculations where necessary for more complicated situations including statutory payments, holidays, redundancies and pay adjustments.
* Assisting year-end payroll procedures and completion of Class 1A NIC's and P11Ds.
Skills required to be successful in your application:
* Previous experience working within a practice, or varied experience working in industry.
* Sage Payroll experience essential.
* Knowledge of CIS and pension processing.
* Excellent levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Knowledge of accounts and tax preparation.
