This company are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team with a particular eye for detail and a drive to progress within a large organisation. This role would form the go-to position in the team so good people skills are essential.

The role of Payroll Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Full responsibility for end-to-end processing of payroll for all UK employees and pensioners in a timely fashion
- Process and apply adjustments to salaries due to a variety of circumstances
- Maintain a good awareness of relevant deductions across all employees
- Responsibility for setting the payroll timetable for the upcoming year
- Preparing and submitting all year end requirements
- Adhere to Sox and audit requirements
- Continuous process improvement
- Manage staff queries regarding pay and other relevant matters
- Responsible for minimum wage checks monthly
- Responsible for company care document completion
- New system implementation
You
As a Payroll Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Previous experience of year end management within busy payroll departments
- Excellent IT skills, especially Excel
- Good communicator, able to work closely with staff at all levels
- Ideally CIPP qualified but QBE will be considered
